Biography

When Randy was 18, he went to work for a local department store in east Tulsa where he landed the job as the art and school supply department manager. As the summer drew to a close he had an idea how to better serve the mothers that would be coming in to purchase school supplies for the school year.

Randy collected a list of supplies for each grade level from area schools. He ordered enough supplies to cover the demand he expected to follow, and then put the supplies on the shelves in the same order the lists were printed. You can only imagine how popular he became!

Randy has always believed... “If you want to stay in business you’d better make it easy for customers to do business with you!”

In 1983 at the age of 22, Randy started living what he calls, “The American Dream”, 25 years ago when he started building his first company inside a mobile home located in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Today his company, U.S. SafetySign and Decal, is now the leading manufacturer of safety signs for the oil and gas industries. His recently updated 8000 sq ft facility sits just outside downtown Tulsa.

In addition to building several other companies and authoring his first book, Randy’s real passion over the last 7 years has been traveling the country sharing with Universities, Business Leaders, Civic Groups and even the United States Postal Service, a program titled,

“The Great Life…Four things you need to become, to experience the life you want!”

His writing and public speaking often communicates the benefit of maintaining a positive attitude and loves sharing how each of us can reach our personal potential.
